IT consulting, support and maintenance

Not every problem needs new software. Sometimes you need an honest second opinion, and afterwards someone who will keep things running. I do both, with one point of contact.

fig. 04A review, then a plan on a timeline

Findings first, in writing. Work only after you have chosen what to do.

§ 1Who it is for

Who this is for.

  • Owners choosing between tools, vendors or build-versus-buy
  • Businesses with software that nobody maintains any more
  • Teams that want a reliable person to call when something breaks

§ 2Deliverables

What you get.

  • A written recommendation with reasons, trade-offs and next steps
  • For support: bug fixes, updates, backups checks and small changes within an agreed scope
  • Clear communication on what is broken, why and what was done
  • Documentation so knowledge does not live only in my head

Typical work

Examples of the kind of work, not a list of past clients.

  • Review your website, tools and workflow and list the highest-value improvements
  • Plan a migration from spreadsheets to a proper system
  • Monthly support for a site or automation: updates, fixes and small changes
  • Security and backup basics for a small business setup

§ 3How it runs

How it runs.

A decision point at every step.

  1. Discovery call and access to what exists

  2. Review and written findings

  3. Agree on any work or a support arrangement

  4. Regular updates and response within an agreed time

§ 4From you

What I need from you.

A little preparation on your side makes the work faster and cheaper.

  • Read-only access, or a walk-through, of the site, tools and accounts in question
  • A list of what hurts today: slow, broken, confusing, risky or just unknown
  • The names of who owns which account, so access and handover stay clean
  • For support: how quickly you need replies and which changes matter most

§ 5Cost

What it costs.

Scoped per project

There is no price list, because two businesses never need the same thing. After a short call you get a written quote within one working day: what is included, milestones, timeline and payment schedule. Nothing starts until you approve it.

Quote within one working day of our call.

§ 6Tools and limits

Tools and boundaries.

Tools I typically use

  • Code and configuration review
  • Hosting and DNS management
  • Backups and monitoring basics
  • Documentation

Not included

  • 24x7 on-call support is not offered unless explicitly agreed in writing.
  • Hardware repair and network cabling are not offered.

§ 7Questions

Questions about this service.

Can you take over a site someone else built?

Often yes. I start with a short review so I know what I am inheriting, and tell you plainly if it is not worth maintaining.

Is support available on weekends or at night?

Normal hours are Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 IST. 24x7 cover is not offered unless agreed in writing.

What does support cost?

It is scoped to what you need: a monthly arrangement or one-off jobs. You get the terms in writing before it starts.

Will you tell me if I do not need to spend money?

Yes. A review that ends with "leave it as it is" is a good outcome.

fig. endNext step

Tell me what is slowing the business down.

A short message is enough. I reply within one working day with honest next steps, not a sales pitch.
